A fixed 90° flush elbow for 40x40 mm railing profile in satin AISI 304. No moving parts, so stiffer and visually cleaner than the adjustable version. The adjustable elbow is in the adjacent section.

About non-adjustable profile elbows
The fixed elbow joins two 40x40 mm profile sections at exactly 90°. It has no moving parts, so it is stiffer and does not work loose over time.
1. When to choose it
For rectangular terraces, balconies and anywhere the angle is known from the drawing and it is 90°.
Visually it is also the cleanest solution: the transition is even, with no visible adjustment point.
2. When it is wrong
On stairs and irregular terrace plans. There the real angle is almost never exactly 90°, and a fixed elbow would force the profiles together under stress.
Forced assembly leaves permanent stress in welds and fixings – exactly what makes a balustrade loose over time.
3. Orientation
A square profile elbow has orientation: it only fits one way round. Before cutting, confirm which plane the elbow turns in.
Ø42.4 mm tube does not have this problem – round tube can be rotated to any position and the elbow still seats.
