Stainless steel handrail brackets fixed to the glass panel through a pre-drilled hole. Six models: base ø30, ø40 or ø50 mm, each for a 40 × 40 mm square-profile or a Ø42.4 mm round handrail, in AISI 304 with a satin finish. The ø50 mm models are adjustable. Choose by handrail profile, base size and whether the run is level or sloped.
A glass-mounted handrail support holds a handrail along the face of a glass balustrade panel. Its base is fixed through a hole drilled in the glass, with a rubber gasket between steel and glass; an arm projects from the glass and carries the handrail on a support plate.
Strofix supplies six models in AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish: base ø30, ø40 or ø50 mm, each in two versions – a flat support plate for a 40 × 40 mm square-profile handrail or a curved plate for Ø42.4 mm round tube.
The ø50 mm models are adjustable in height and in the angle of the support plate; the ø30 and ø40 mm models are fixed.
The support plate must match the handrail: a flat plate for a 40 × 40 mm square-profile handrail, a curved plate for Ø42.4 mm round tube.
The ø30 and ø40 mm models hold the handrail at a fixed angle and suit level runs. On stairs and other sloped runs, use the adjustable ø50 mm models: the support plate tilts to follow the pitch and the height can be set on site.
The base diameter – ø30, ø40 or ø50 mm – sets how large the fixing looks on the glass. Compare the drawings on each product page.
Every model is fixed through a hole in the glass. Toughened glass cannot be drilled after toughening, so plan the bracket positions and order the glass with the holes already made.
