Connectors that join Ø42.4 mm railing tube in line, in a T-branch, at a corner or at a crossing. Push-fit or weld-on, in satin and polished, AISI 304 and AISI 316. Filter by connector shape, finish and grade.
Ø42.4 mm is the base tube size of the Strofix railing system, which is why this connector series is the widest in the range.
Round tube has one practical advantage over square profile: the connector has no orientation, so the tube can be rotated to any position and the joint still seats.
The range has four shapes – straight, T, corner and cross – plus a weld-on cross connector.
The straight connector is available in satin AISI 304/316 and in polished.
The choice depends on how many sections meet at one point, whether the joint may be visible, and the steel grade.
The straight connector extends a run in line; the T brings in a third section at right angles.
The corner connector joins two sections at an angle. The cross connector joins four sections at one point – used in grid structures and where a crossbar meets a vertical element.
Push-fit connectors go on without welding – faster on site, and the structure can be dismantled later.
The weld-on cross connector is welded in and becomes invisible once the seam is dressed. Choose it where the joint must not be seen.
These connectors are for Ø42.4 x 2 mm tube. Thicker-walled tube will not enter the connector; thinner-walled tube will move inside it.
If the tube comes from another supplier, check the outside diameter with callipers – nominal Ø42.4 mm varies by tenths in practice.
Most of the range is satin AISI 304. The straight connector is also available in AISI 316 and in polished.
Choose AISI 316 on the coast, around pools and where de-icing salt is used in winter.
