Stainless steel glass clamps for flat-surface mounting on walls, posts and railing structures. Ten body sizes from 30×30 mm mini to L-67, in AISI 304 or AISI 316, satin or polished finish, with rubbers for 4–8 mm glass. Filter by size, grade and finish.
A glass clamp for a flat surface is a stainless-steel bracket that grips a glass panel along its edge without requiring a drilled hole, fixing the panel to a wall, post or flat-sided structure by clamping pressure alone.
Two halves tighten around the glass with rubber inserts that cushion the contact and accommodate different panel thicknesses.
Strofix supplies flat-mount glass clamps in seven body sizes – from the compact 30 × 30 mm mini clamp through 40 × 50, 45 × 45, 45 × 63 and 52 × 52 mm to the large 55 × 65 and 60 × 70 mm bodies for thick laminated glass – in AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel with satin or polished finishes.
Each body has its own rubber inserts sized to the glass thickness (from 4 to 21.52 mm depending on the clamp); clamps can also be ordered without rubbers for custom applications.
The correct clamp depends on body size, glass thickness, steel grade and the required finish.
Strofix offers seven flat-mount body sizes: 30 × 30, 40 × 50, 45 × 45, 45 × 63, 52 × 52, 55 × 65 and 60 × 70 mm.
Compact clamps such as the 30×30 mm mini variant are suited to lightweight partitions and decorative panels where the clamp should be as inconspicuous as possible.
Larger bodies provide a larger clamping area for heavier or wider panels and are needed for thicker glass.
The glass range depends on the body: 30 × 30 mm: 4–8 mm; 40 × 50 and 45 × 45 mm: 6–10.76 mm; 45 × 63 mm: 6–12.76 mm; 52 × 52 mm: 8–12.76 mm; 55 × 65 mm: 12–17.52 mm; 60 × 70 mm: 17.52–21.52 mm.
Each clamp is supplied with interchangeable rubber inserts sized for the glass thickness you order.
The rubbers ensure a snug fit and even pressure distribution.
Clamps can also be ordered without rubbers if a non-standard glass thickness or a custom rubber is required.
Replacement rubbers are available separately in the Rubbers for glass clamps category.
AISI 304 is the standard grade for interior and typical exterior installations.
AISI 316 is available on selected variants and should be specified wherever higher chloride resistance is needed: near the sea, around outdoor pools or where de-icing salt is used. Indoor swimming pools are a special case – ask us before ordering.
Satin is the default finish – it reduces visible fingerprints and blends with most railing and post systems.
Polished stainless steel has a brighter, mirror-like appearance for contemporary interiors.
Finish is an aesthetic choice and does not affect clamping performance.
All clamps in this category have a flat back designed for wall, floor or flat-sided post mounting.
If the glass panel is mounted on a round pipe (e.g. Ø42.4 mm), choose a clamp from the Glass clamp for pipe category instead.
