Elbows that change the direction of 40x40 mm railing profile. The range has a fixed 90° flush elbow and an adjustable elbow, both in satin AISI 304. Ø42.4 mm tube has a much wider elbow series.

About elbows for 40x40 mm profile
An elbow changes the direction of the profile; a connector only extends or branches it. For square profile the Strofix range has two elbows: fixed 90° and adjustable.
1. Fixed 90° or adjustable
The fixed 90° elbow is stiffer, cheaper and visually cleaner. Choose it for rectangular terraces and balconies where the angle is known from the drawing.
The adjustable elbow lets the angle be set on site – the only option for stairs and irregular terrace plans.
2. Orientation
A square profile elbow has orientation: it only fits one way round. Before cutting the profile, confirm which plane the elbow turns in – horizontal or vertical.
3. If you need more options
The square profile elbow range is narrow. If the project needs 135°, a rounded transition or a weld-on version, those exist in the Ø42.4 mm tube elbow series.
In practice that means the choice between square and round profile should account for the elbows available, not only the look of the posts.
