Square 40x40 mm railing posts with glass clamps whose top is prepared for a round Ø42.4 mm handrail. Versions for flat floors and stairs, in AISI 304 and AISI 316. Posts for a square handrail are in the adjacent section.
This section splits the square glass-clamp posts by handrail shape: these are the ones prepared for a round Ø42.4 mm handrail.
A square post with a round handrail is the most common stair combination: the structure stays straight, while the grab rail is round and easier to hold.
Glass clamps grip the edge of the glass, so no holes are drilled – the glass can be specified more simply and replaced later.
The range covers both flat-floor and stair versions, in AISI 304 and AISI 316.
The choice depends on whether the balustrade runs on a flat floor or a stair, and on the steel grade.
Ø42.4 mm tube is easier to grip than a 40x40 mm profile, which makes it the practical choice for stairs and public buildings.
If the handrail will be square, use the adjacent section – the post top is prepared for a specific profile.
On a stair post the clamps and handrail connection are set for the pitch; on a flat-floor post they are at 90°.
A project with a stair and a landing needs both types – count them by flight, not by piece.
Clamps need no holes in the glass and let the panel be replaced later.
Point fixings look more minimal, but the holes must be ordered at the glass factory, and no stair version exists for them in the range.
AISI 304 suits interiors and normal outdoor exposure; AISI 316 suits the coast, pools and balconies with winter salt.
In this series both grades are available for every version, so grade can be chosen independently.
Glass, handrail sections, handrail elements and base fixings are not included.
Choose handrail elements from the round Ø42.4 mm series, and agree the glass thickness against the clamp's range before the glass is ordered.
