Connectors that join 40x40 mm railing profile in line, in a T-branch or at a corner. Satin AISI 304, push-fit without welding. Ø42.4 mm tube has its own connector series. Filter by connector shape.
A connector joins two or more sections of 40x40 mm railing profile. It does not change direction – an elbow does that.
Square profile connectors differ from round tube in one important way: they have orientation. The profile only enters the connector in one position, so you need to know where the joint will be before cutting.
The Strofix range for 40x40 mm profile has three shapes: straight, T and corner.
All are satin AISI 304 and push-fit – no welding required.
The choice depends on how many sections meet at one point, and at what angle.
The straight connector extends a run in line – used where one profile is not long enough, or where the structure must be split into transportable pieces.
The T connector brings in a third section at right angles. The corner connector joins two sections at an angle.
These connectors are for 40x40x2 mm profile. A different wall thickness will either not fit or will move in the joint.
Check the corner radius too – it varies between manufacturers of square section, and it is what decides how tightly the connector seats.
These connectors push onto the profile ends. That means the structure can be assembled on site and taken apart later.
If the joint must be completely invisible, look at the weld-on versions in the tube section – there is no weld-on connector for square profile in the range.
Every connector in this range is satin AISI 304, which suits interiors and normal outdoor exposure.
AISI 316 is advisable on the coast and around pools; in this range it is available in the tube connector series, so the material is worth settling at design stage.
