How does the 40x40 straight connector work?

It is an internal sleeve: one half goes into each profile end, and the two profiles meet over it. Only a thin 4 mm band shows between them, so the joint is barely visible once installed.

The connector is glued in with the anaerobic glue for stainless steel parts.
