The Strofix glass clamp 60×70 mm flat with support is the largest and heaviest-duty glass clamp in the Strofix range, designed for the thickest laminated safety glass panels available – 17.52 and 21.52 mm. The clamp mounts on flat surfaces such as walls, square posts, and flat-sided structural members. The distance between the mounting surface and the glass panel is 20 mm. Manufactured exclusively from AISI 316 stainless steel with a satin finish. Includes support. Attached by screwing (elements for screwing included).
This is the only glass clamp in the Strofix range manufactured in AISI 316 as the sole grade option – glass this thick is mostly specified on high-specification commercial projects, where AISI 316 is the usual choice. The 17.52 mm glass option covers heavy laminated safety glass configurations (e.g., two tempered panes with PVB interlayer), while the 21.52 mm option is the absolute maximum glass thickness in the Strofix product line.
Select the glass thickness in the dropdown at order time. A "without rubbers" option is available for ordering the clamp body only.
| Glass thickness | SKU | Price excl. VAT | Price incl. VAT |
|---|---|---|---|
| Without rubber inlays | ST-060700B-6S | €24.64 | €29.81 |
| 17,52mm | ST-0607017.52B-6S | €24.94 | €30.18 |
| 21,52mm | ST-0607021.52B-6S | €24.94 | €30.18 |
Two options: 17.52 mm and 21.52 mm laminated safety glass. The 21.52 mm is the thickest glass supported by any clamp in the Strofix range. A "without rubbers" option is also available for ordering the clamp body only.
This is the only glass clamp in the Strofix range available exclusively in AISI 316 (no AISI 304 option). Installations requiring 17.52–21.52 mm laminated glass are typically high-specification commercial projects where marine-grade stainless steel is the standard material specification.
The 55 × 65 handles glass from 12 to 17.52 mm in AISI 304 or AISI 316. This 60 × 70 handles 17.52 and 21.52 mm in AISI 316 only. There is a small overlap at 17.52 mm – for 17.52 mm glass, either clamp may be used, but this 60 × 70 provides a larger body and is AISI 316 only.
21.52 mm is a heavy laminated safety glass configuration – typically two thick tempered panes bonded with a PVB interlayer. The glass thickness for a project is set by its structural design, not by the clamp.
Yes. The clamp includes a security plate for secondary glass retention.
The clamp is attached to the mounting surface by screwing. Fastening hardware is included.
A glass clamp for a flat surface is a stainless-steel bracket that grips a glass panel along its edge without requiring a drilled hole, fixing the panel to a wall, post or flat-sided structure by clamping pressure alone. Two halves tighten around the glass with rubber inserts that cushion the contact and accommodate different panel thicknesses.
Strofix supplies flat-mount glass clamps in seven body sizes – from the compact 30 × 30 mm mini clamp through 40 × 50, 45 × 45, 45 × 63 and 52 × 52 mm to the large 55 × 65 and 60 × 70 mm bodies for thick laminated glass – in AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel with satin or polished finishes. Each body has its own rubber inserts sized to the glass thickness (from 4 to 21.52 mm depending on the clamp); clamps can also be ordered without rubbers for custom applications.
The correct clamp depends on body size, glass thickness, steel grade and the required finish.
