Steel anchors, screws, nuts, washers and pre-matched canopy fastener sets for installing Strofix architectural hardware. Anchor lengths from 150 to 400 mm in AISI 304 and S235 steel, with canopy sets for masonry, insulated and timber-frame façades. Filter by wall type, thread size and anchor length.
Anchors and screws are the mechanical fasteners that secure glass adaptors, canopy brackets, railing posts, French balcony holders and other architectural hardware to the building substrate.
They transfer structural loads from the visible hardware into concrete, masonry, insulated façades or timber frames.
Strofix supplies 16 products in this category: steel anchors in four lengths (150, 220, 320 and 400 mm) with rod diameters of Ø16 and Ø20 mm, an anchor sleeve (M10 × 80 mm), a spacer tube (L = 100 mm), individual screws (M10 × 45), cup nuts (M10), washers, double stainless-steel threads (M8, 60 and 100 mm), a wood screw (Ø10 × 180 mm), and pre-matched screw-and-fastener sets for 1, 2, 3 or 4 glass canopy brackets — configurable for masonry without insulation, masonry with insulation and timber-frame construction.
Materials are AISI 304 stainless steel and S235 structural steel.
The correct fastener depends on wall type, hardware product, bolt size and required embedment depth.
This is the most decisive factor. S235 steel anchors (Ø16 and Ø20 mm rods) are designed for embedment in concrete and solid masonry.
Pre-matched canopy screw-and-fastener sets are configured for three façade types — masonry without insulation, masonry with insulation and timber-frame construction — and include the correct anchor, screw and washer combination for each.
Wood screws (Ø10 × 180 mm) are used for fixings into structural timber. Identify the actual wall build-up before selecting.
Each Strofix product specifies the bolt thread it requires — M8, M10 or M12.
Steel anchors are available with M8 (Ø16 rod) and M10 (Ø16 and Ø20 rods) threads.
The anchor sleeve accepts M10 × 80 mm.
Countersunk screws (M10 × 45) are used as replacement or additional fixings for glass adaptors.
Match the thread size to the hardware specification.
Anchor length determines the embedment depth in the wall and must be sufficient to reach solid substrate behind any insulation, render or cladding layers.
The 150 mm anchor suits standard solid masonry or concrete.
The 220 and 320 mm anchors are for walls with moderate insulation build-up.
The 400 mm anchor reaches through thick external insulation systems to the load-bearing structure behind.
AISI 304 stainless-steel parts — screws, cup nuts, washers, anchor sleeves and double threads — are used for exposed or partially visible fixings where corrosion resistance is important.
S235 structural-steel anchors are a cost-effective option for concealed fixings that are fully embedded in the substrate and not exposed to weather.
Pre-matched sets contain all screws and fastenings needed for a specific number of canopy bracket fixing points.
Choose the set size that matches the number of brackets in the canopy kit, and select the façade-type variant that corresponds to the wall construction.
This eliminates the need to source individual fasteners separately.
