The Strofix cup nut M10 is an AISI 304 (A2) stainless-steel hexagon cap nut to DIN 917 (low form). It has an internal M10 thread and a closed top that covers the end of the bolt or threaded rod.
The nut is screwed onto the protruding end of an M10 bolt, threaded rod or stud and hides the thread end, giving a neat and safe finish on railing, balustrade and canopy fixings that people can touch. The hexagon body takes a standard spanner, and the low DIN 917 form sits closer to the surface than a domed DIN 1587 nut.
Use cases:
- Covering exposed M10 thread ends on railing, balustrade and canopy fixings
- Finishing threaded rods and studs, such as the M10 × 200 threaded rod or the M10 × 50 set screw
