About Connector Glass Clamps

A connector glass clamp is a stainless-steel bracket that joins two glass panels at a fixed angle without requiring an intermediate post between them.

It clamps two panel edges simultaneously — either in a straight 180° inline configuration or at a 90° corner — creating a continuous glass run around corners or across panel joints.

Strofix supplies connector glass clamps in four variants: two 180° inline clamps and two 90° corner clamps, all in AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish and flat-surface mounting.

Each angle is available in two body styles to suit different panel thicknesses and installation requirements.

The correct connector clamp depends on the angle between the two panels and the body style that matches the railing layout.

How to choose a connector glass clamp

1. Angle: 180° or 90°

This is the only geometric decision. Choose a 180° connector where two glass panels meet in a straight line — for example, at a panel-to-panel joint along a balustrade run.

Choose a 90° connector where the railing turns a right-angle corner, such as at a landing or terrace edge.

The angle is fixed and cannot be adjusted after installation.

2. Body style

Each angle is available in two body variants.

The two 180° clamps and two 90° clamps differ in body dimensions and clamping channel width, allowing for different glass thicknesses and visual profiles.

Compare the body dimensions on each product page to the glass thickness and design intent of the project.

3. Glass panel alignment

Connector clamps hold two panels edge-to-edge with a small gap between them.

Confirm that both panels are the same thickness and that the glass edges are clean-cut and square, as the clamp channels require a uniform fit on both sides.

If the two panels differ in thickness, standard connector clamps may not provide even clamping pressure.
