The 18 mm bore fits over the anchor rod or threaded stud, and the 49 mm outer diameter provides bearing area against the insulation. The 100 mm length corresponds to common insulation thicknesses. For thicker insulation layers, multiple spacers can be extended by snapping one onto another end-to-end until the required total length is reached.
