Adjustable stainless steel handrail brackets for glass-mounted Ø42.4 mm handrails on frameless glass balustrades. Two D50 bracket variants in AISI 304 satin finish — no drilling required. Choose by bracket geometry and required offset.
A glass-mounted handrail support is a stainless-steel bracket that clamps to the side face of a glass balustrade panel and holds a Ø42.4 mm round-pipe handrail above it.
It allows a handrail to be added to a frameless or semi-frameless glass railing system without drilling through the glass — the bracket grips the panel edge and projects outward to support the rail at the correct height and angle.
Strofix supplies two glass-mounted handrail brackets, both with a D50 mm wall plate, adjustable angle and a socket profiled for Ø42.4 mm round pipe, in AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish.
The two variants differ in bracket geometry, providing flexibility for different glass-edge positions and handrail alignments.
The correct bracket depends on the required offset and angle relative to the glass panel.
Strofix offers two glass-mounted handrail brackets — both adjustable, both with a D50 wall plate and both profiled for Ø42.4 mm round pipe.
The two variants differ in the bracket arm geometry, which affects how far the handrail sits from the glass edge and the range of angular adjustment.
Compare the product drawings and dimensions on each product page to determine which geometry best fits the glass thickness and handrail position required by the project.
Both brackets feature an adjustable angle joint, allowing the handrail to be tilted on site to follow stair pitches or to align with adjacent sections of the railing run.
The angle is set during installation and locked in place.
This makes both variants suited to both level and inclined runs without needing a separate stair-specific bracket.
Glass-mounted brackets clamp to the exposed edge of the glass panel.
Confirm that the glass panel extends above the post or clamp line far enough for the bracket to grip securely.
The bracket does not require a drilled hole — it attaches by clamping pressure against the glass surface.
