A glass adaptor cover is a stainless-steel cap that screws onto the visible face of a glass adaptor assembly, concealing the fixing bolt and giving the point fixing a clean, finished appearance.

The cover threads onto the bolt that passes through the glass, so it is the component the viewer sees from the interior or exterior side of the panel.

Strofix supplies glass adaptor covers in three diameters — D30, D40 and D50 — in AISI 304 satin-finish stainless steel, with flat and spherical head profiles.

Covers are sold individually as spare or replacement parts, and thread onto M8, M10 or M12 bolts depending on the variant.

The correct cover depends on adaptor diameter, head profile (flat or spherical) and the bolt size used in the assembly.

How to choose a glass adaptor cover

1. Adaptor diameter (D30 / D40 / D50)

The cover must match the outer diameter of the glass adaptor it will be paired with.

A D30 cover fits D30 adaptors, D40 fits D40, and D50 fits D50.

Check the diameter of the installed adaptor or the adaptor specified for the project before ordering.

2. Head profile: flat or spherical

Flat covers sit flush with the adaptor face and produce a low-profile, disc-like appearance.

Spherical covers have a domed shape that adds a subtle three-dimensional accent.

Both profiles are available for D40 and D50; D30 is supplied with a flat profile only.

The choice is purely aesthetic and does not affect the fixing performance.

3. Bolt size (M8 / M10 / M12)

The cover threads onto the fixing bolt, so the internal thread must match the bolt diameter used in the adaptor assembly.

D30 covers accept M8 bolts; D40 and D50 variants are available for M10 and M12 bolts.

Confirm the bolt size on the existing or planned assembly before selecting.
