The Strofix glass clamp 90×25×28 mm, 180° is a stainless-steel glass-to-glass joint clamp with a low-profile bar shape for connecting two glass panels in a straight line (180° alignment) on flat mounting surfaces. The clamp measures 90 × 25 × 28 mm (L × H × depth) and holds glass panels from 10 to 12.76 mm thick. Manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. Flat mounting surface.

This is the slimmest 180° joint clamp in the Strofix range — at only 25 mm tall, it presents a low, discreet horizontal bar across the glass-to-glass joint, in contrast to the taller 45 mm wide-bar clamps. The 90 mm length still provides a wide grip area along the panel edges. The glass range is focused on thicker panels (10–12.76 mm): 10 and 12 mm single tempered glass and 10.76 and 12.76 mm laminated safety glass (66.2). The low profile suits installations where a minimal, understated joint detail is preferred while still accommodating heavy glass.

Use cases:

  • Low-profile glass-to-glass inline joint for a discreet, minimal connection detail
  • Joining two thick glass panels (10–12.76 mm) in a straight line (180°)
  • Design-led glass balustrade installations where a slim joint clamp is preferred
  • Flat-mount 180° glass joints with thick glass and minimal visual height
  • Continuous glass balustrade runs with heavy laminated glass and understated hardware

FAQ

How does this differ from the taller wide-bar 180° clamps?

This clamp is only 25 mm tall, versus 45 mm on the 45 × 90, 45 × 95, and 45 × 106 mm wide-bar clamps. The low profile gives a slimmer, more discreet horizontal bar across the joint. The glass range (10–12.76 mm) focuses on thicker panels.

What glass thicknesses are supported?

The clamp accepts glass from 10 to 12.76 mm: 10 and 12 mm single tempered glass and 10.76 and 12.76 mm laminated safety glass (66.2). For thinner glass, use one of the taller wide-bar 180° clamps.

What are the clamp dimensions?

The clamp is 90 × 25 × 28 mm (L × H × depth). The 25 mm height makes this the lowest-profile 180° joint clamp in the range.

What steel grade is used?

AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish.

What mounting surface does this fit?

The clamp has a flat back for mounting on walls, square posts, and flat-sided structural members.

Both joined panels must be the same thickness?

Yes. Both glass panels at the joint must be the same thickness for even gasket contact.

About Connector Glass Clamps

A connector glass clamp is a stainless-steel bracket that joins two glass panels at a fixed angle without requiring an intermediate post between them. It clamps two panel edges simultaneously — either in a straight 180° inline configuration or at a 90° corner — creating a continuous glass run around corners or across panel joints.

Strofix supplies connector glass clamps in many variants: 180° inline clamps, 90° corner clamps, and wall clamps. Each clamp is available to suit different panel thicknesses and installation requirements.

The correct connector clamp depends on the angle between the two panels and the body style that matches the railing layout.
