The Strofix glass clamp 45×106×30 mm, 180° is a stainless-steel glass-to-glass joint clamp with an extra-wide bar profile for connecting two glass panels in a straight line (180° alignment) on flat mounting surfaces. The clamp measures 106 × 45 × 30 mm (L × H × depth, with internal grip depth a = 39 mm) and holds glass panels from 6 to 12.76 mm thick. Manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. Flat mounting surface.
The 106 mm length is the widest body of any glass clamp in the Strofix range, creating a prominent horizontal bar across the glass-to-glass joint. This extended profile distributes the clamping load over a larger area along both panel edges and provides a strong architectural feature at the connection point. The glass range extends to 12.76 mm — wider than the 45 × 90 mm wide-bar 180° clamp (which tops out at 10.76 mm) — making this suitable for thicker laminated glass joints. Glass thickness options include 6, 8, 10, and 12 mm single tempered glass and 8.76, 10.76, and 12.76 mm laminated safety glass (66.2). A "without rubbers" option is available for ordering the clamp body only.
Select the glass thickness at order time.
All three are flat-mount 180° glass-to-glass joint clamps. The 60 × 60 mm is a compact square (glass 6–12.76 mm, AISI 316). The 45 × 90 mm is a wide bar (glass 6–10.76 mm, AISI 316). This 45 × 106 mm is the widest bar (glass 6–12.76 mm, AISI 304). Choose this clamp for the widest profile combined with thick glass capacity.
Seven options: 6, 8, 10, 12 mm single tempered glass and 8.76, 10.76, 12.76 mm laminated safety glass (66.2).
The clamp is 106 × 45 × 30 mm (L × H × depth), with an internal grip depth of a = 39 mm. The 106 mm length is the widest single dimension on any glass clamp in the Strofix range.
AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. Note that this is AISI 304, whereas the 45 × 90 and 60 × 60 mm 180° clamps are AISI 316.
The clamp has a flat back for mounting on walls, square posts, and flat-sided structural members.
Yes. Both glass panels at the joint must be the same thickness for even gasket contact.
A connector glass clamp is a stainless-steel bracket that joins two glass panels at a fixed angle without requiring an intermediate post between them. It clamps two panel edges simultaneously — either in a straight 180° inline configuration or at a 90° corner — creating a continuous glass run around corners or across panel joints.
Strofix supplies connector glass clamps in many variants: 180° inline clamps, 90° corner clamps, and wall clamps. Each clamp is available to suit different panel thicknesses and installation requirements.
The correct connector clamp depends on the angle between the two panels and the body style that matches the railing layout.
Strofix designs and supplies stainless-steel fastening systems for architectural glass, including glass adaptors, railing components, handrails, and structural fixings. We also serve architects, installers, and building contractors on residential and commercial projects.
