The Strofix canopy fixing wall plate is a round Ø60 mm decorative rosette for the hanging glass canopy wall fixing point. The plate has an M10 × 15 internal thread and is manufactured from stainless steel. It provides a clean, finished appearance at the wall anchor location where the canopy tension rod system connects to the building facade.
The round wall plate screws onto the M10 threaded stud of the wall fixing, covering the anchor point and presenting a smooth Ø60 mm circular face against the wall surface. This is the visible component that the building occupant sees at the wall connection — the structural fixing behind is concealed by the plate. The Ø60 mm diameter matches the other d60 components in the Strofix hanging glass canopy range, ensuring visual consistency across all wall-side connection points.
This product is a component of the Strofix hanging glass canopy system.
The wall plate is the visible decorative rosette that covers the structural wall fixing at the tension rod connection point. It screws onto the M10 threaded stud of the wall fixing, presenting a clean Ø60 mm face against the wall.
The plate is Ø60 mm round with an M10 × 15 internal thread (M10 thread, 15 mm depth).
The plate screws onto the M10 threaded stud that protrudes from the structural wall fixing. No adhesive or additional tools are required — it threads on by hand.
The wall plate and wall tension rod fixing share the same SKU (SJ50WT-I-04). Check the product listing to confirm whether the plate is supplied as part of the wall fixing assembly or sold separately as a replacement component.
The plate is manufactured from stainless steel with a satin-quality surface finish, matching other components in the Strofix hanging canopy range.
The Ø60 mm plate is specifically designed for the wall-side anchor point. The glass-side fixings use Ø50 mm rosettes. The d60 plate is not interchangeable with the d50 glass-side components.
A hanging glass canopy is a wall-mounted entrance shelter in which stainless-steel tension rods suspend the glass panel from anchor points above, transferring load diagonally back to the building façade.
Strofix offers all the parts needed to build hanging canopy systems — the suspension rods, the fittings that hold the glass against the wall, the connectors that link the rods to both the glass and the wall, and complete system sets — all made in stainless steel with a satin finish.
The benefits go beyond appearance. The canopy shelters the doorway from rain and snow, keeping visitors dry as they arrive and protecting the door and threshold from constant weather exposure, which extends their working life. Because the glass is clear, daylight still reaches the entrance, so the area underneath does not feel dark or enclosed. The slim rod suspension leaves the façade largely unobstructed, which is especially valuable on buildings with detailed brickwork, stonework, or architectural features worth preserving.
The correct component selection depends on canopy span, glass weight, environment and wall structure.
Strofix designs and supplies stainless-steel fastening systems for architectural glass, including glass adaptors, railing components, handrails, and structural fixings. We also serve architects, installers, and building contractors on residential and commercial projects.
