The Strofix double stainless-steel thread M10 L100 is an AISI 304 double-end threaded stud (hanger bolt) with an M10 machine thread and 100 mm length. One end has a coarse wood screw thread for screwing into timber; the other end has an M10 metric machine thread for receiving a nut. Intended for wooden frame building and timber substrate installations.
The double-end stud bridges wood-to-metal connections in railing installations. The wood screw end is driven into a timber deck, beam, or frame member, and the protruding M10 machine thread end receives a nut and washer to secure a railing post base plate or other metal component. The M10 thread matches base plates with Ø11 mm bolt holes, such as the Ø100 mm round tube base plate and the 100 × 100 mm square tube base plates. The 100 mm length provides deeper timber embedment than the M8 L60 double thread, making it suitable for thicker timber sections and higher-load applications. AISI 304 stainless steel provides corrosion resistance at the wood-metal interface.
This SKU is a single fixed configuration — M10, L = 100 mm, AISI 304 only.
M10 machine thread, 100 mm total length. One end has a coarse wood screw thread, the other has M10 metric machine thread.
This product is M10 thread, 100 mm long. The M8 L60 is M8 thread, 60 mm long. This M10 version provides a larger thread (for Ø11 mm bolt hole base plates), deeper timber embedment (100 vs 60 mm), and higher pull-out resistance. Choose M10 for Ø100 mm and 100 × 100 mm base plates; choose M8 for Ø80 mm and 80 × 80 / 105 × 105 mm base plates.
Strofix Ø100 mm round tube base plates and 100 × 100 mm square tube base plates have Ø11 mm holes for M10 screws.
Pre-drill a pilot hole in the timber. Drive the wood screw end into the timber using a stud driver or two nuts on the machine end. The M10 thread protrudes for the base plate, washer, and nut.
AISI 304 stainless steel, providing corrosion resistance at the wood-metal interface.
Anchors and screws are the mechanical fasteners that secure glass adaptors, canopy brackets, railing posts, French balcony holders and other architectural hardware to the building substrate. They transfer structural loads from the visible hardware into concrete, masonry, insulated façades or timber frames.
Strofix supplies 16 products in this category: steel anchors in four lengths (150, 220, 320 and 400 mm) with rod diameters of Ø16 and Ø20 mm, an anchor sleeve (M10 × 80 mm), a spacer tube (L = 100 mm), individual screws (M10 × 45), cup nuts (M10), washers, double stainless-steel threads (M8, 60 and 100 mm), a wood screw (Ø10 × 180 mm), and pre-matched screw-and-fastener sets for 1, 2, 3 or 4 glass canopy brackets — configurable for masonry without insulation, masonry with insulation and timber-frame construction.
Materials are AISI 304 stainless steel and S235 structural steel.
The correct fastener depends on wall type, hardware product, bolt size and required embedment depth.
Strofix designs and supplies stainless-steel fastening systems for architectural glass, including glass adaptors, railing components, handrails, and structural fixings. We also serve architects, installers, and building contractors on residential and commercial projects.
