The Essve ONE chemical anchor mass is a 300 mL CE-marked anchor mortar designed for high-strength anchoring of threaded rods, anchor bolts, and reinforcement bars in concrete. Approved for use in both cracked and non-cracked concrete, the anchor mortar is suitable for demanding environments including docks, ports, and other applications requiring reliable structural anchoring.
Chemical anchor mortar is injected into a pre-drilled hole in concrete, and the threaded rod or anchor bolt is inserted into the filled hole. The resin cures around the fastener, creating a structural bond between the steel element and the concrete substrate. In railing installations, chemical anchoring is used to secure post base plates, spigot base glass clamps, glass canopy supports, and other structural fixings to concrete floors, slabs, and walls. The 300 mL cartridge is dispensed with a standard caulking gun and provides multiple anchor points per cartridge depending on the hole diameter and depth.
CE marking confirms the product has been tested and approved in accordance with European standards for structural anchoring applications.
Chemical anchor mortar is a two-component resin system that is injected into a pre-drilled hole in concrete. A threaded rod or anchor bolt is inserted, and the resin cures to create a structural bond between the steel fastener and the concrete. It provides higher load capacity than expansion anchors in many applications.
The Essve ONE anchor mortar is CE marked and approved for use in cracked and non-cracked concrete. It is suitable for threaded rods, anchor bolts, and reinforcement bars.
The cartridge contains 300 mL of anchor mortar. The number of anchor points per cartridge depends on the hole diameter and depth specified for the application.
The 300 mL cartridge is dispensed using a standard caulking gun. The mortar is injected into the pre-drilled and cleaned hole before inserting the threaded rod or bolt.
Chemical anchor mortar is typically used for base fixings in railing, balustrade, and glass canopy installations where structural components must be anchored to concrete. This includes post base plates, spigot base glass clamps, glass canopy brackets, and French balcony brackets. The specific anchoring method and load requirements should be determined by a structural engineer for each project.
Yes. A separate Essve chemical anchor mass for winter conditions is available in the Strofix Chemistry, Adhesives subcategory for installations in low-temperature environments.
Chemistry and adhesive products are the chemical bonding and anchoring agents used alongside mechanical fastenings in architectural hardware installations.
Chemical anchor-mass bonds a threaded rod or stud into a drilled hole through a curing resin, providing high pull-out resistance in substrates where mechanical expansion anchors are insufficient — such as hollow masonry, aerated concrete and close-to-edge fixings. Anaerobic glue permanently locks stainless-steel threaded connections and bonds close-fitting metal parts by curing in the absence of air.
Strofix supplies three products in this category: a 50 mL anaerobic glue formulated for stainless-steel bonding, a 300 mL standard chemical anchor-mass (Essve), and a 300 mL winter-grade chemical anchor-mass (Essve) for installations at low ambient temperatures. The correct product depends on whether the task is substrate anchoring or metal-to-metal bonding, and whether installation takes place in standard or cold-weather conditions.
Strofix designs and supplies stainless-steel fastening systems for architectural glass, including glass adaptors, railing components, handrails, and structural fixings. We also serve architects, installers, and building contractors on residential and commercial projects.
