The Strofix threaded wire rope terminal Ø 3mm, M6, 100mm, Left, Satin is an AISI 316 terminal for Ø3 mm stainless-steel wire rope. It combines a sleeve for the rope with an M6 left-hand threaded stud and a nut. Overall length is 100 mm; the thread is 48 mm long and the sleeve 38 mm.
The sleeve is crimped onto the rope end with the Strofix crimping pliers. The threaded stud passes through a hole in the post or end plate, and tightening the nut tensions the cable. A matching right-hand version is also available. AISI 316 contains molybdenum, which gives it higher resistance to chlorides and salt air than AISI 304 and makes it suitable for exterior, coastal and high-humidity installations. It works with the Strofix Ø3 mm rope and the other wire rope system components.
