The Strofix cable holder M6, Satin is an AISI 304 stainless-steel rope holder that secures the wire rope to the railing post in a wire rope balustrade system. It has an M6 thread and fits 40 × 40 mm and Ø42.4 mm posts, with a satin finish.
In a wire rope balustrade, the horizontal cables run between posts and are held to each post along the run; this cable holder clamps and guides the Ø3 mm stainless-steel rope at the post via its M6 thread. It is made from AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, matching the other Strofix wire rope system components. It works alongside the range's ropes, rope holders, rope bar holders, and railing terminals.

About Wire Rope Systems
A wire rope system is a stainless-steel cable infill for balustrades, where horizontal tensioned ropes run between railing posts to form a lightweight, open barrier. The thin cables maintain visibility and airflow while providing fall protection on balconies, terraces, decks and staircases.
Strofix supplies all components for wire rope balustrades: a Ø3 mm stainless-steel rope in AISI 316 (available from 1m lengths), rope holders that clamp the cable to the post, rope crossbar holders, rope bar holders, and railing terminals that anchor the cable end at the first and last post.
The holders and terminals are supplied in AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, designed for Ø42.4 mm round pipe posts and flat surfaces. The correct component selection depends on post type, the number of cable runs and the total railing length.
