Wire rope tensioner Ø 3mm, 150-210mm, Satin

The Strofix wire rope tensioner Ø 3mm, 150-210mm, Satin is an adjustable AISI 316 turnbuckle for Ø3 mm stainless-steel wire rope. One end has a fork and pin for attaching to an eye anchor or post plate; the other has a sleeve for the rope. The length adjusts from 150 to 210 mm.

The sleeve is crimped onto the rope end with the Strofix crimping pliers. Turning the centre body shortens the fitting and pulls the cable taut, so the tension can be set after the rope is installed and re-adjusted later. AISI 316 contains molybdenum, which gives it higher resistance to chlorides and salt air than AISI 304 and makes it suitable for exterior, coastal and high-humidity installations. It works with the Strofix Ø3 mm rope, the eye anchor and the other wire rope system components.

A wire rope system is a stainless-steel cable infill for balustrades: horizontal ropes are tensioned between the railing posts to form a light, open infill that keeps the view and lets air through – for balconies, terraces and staircases.
