Wire rope tensioner Ø 3mm, 51mm, Satin

The Strofix wire rope tensioner Ø 3mm, 51mm, Satin is a compact AISI 316 fitting for tensioning Ø3 mm stainless-steel wire rope. It has a fork and pin for attaching to an eye anchor or post plate; the fitting is 51 mm long.

It holds the end of the cable at the post and allows the rope tension to be adjusted, while taking up less space than the 150–210 mm turnbuckle. AISI 316 contains molybdenum, which gives it higher resistance to chlorides and salt air than AISI 304 and makes it suitable for exterior, coastal and high-humidity installations. It works with the Strofix Ø3 mm rope, the eye anchor and the other wire rope system components.

A wire rope system is a stainless-steel cable infill for balustrades: horizontal ropes are tensioned between the railing posts to form a light, open infill that keeps the view and lets air through – for balconies, terraces and staircases.
