About Wire Rope Systems
A wire rope system is a stainless-steel cable infill for balustrades: horizontal ropes are tensioned between the railing posts to form a light, open infill that keeps the view and lets air through – for balconies, terraces and staircases.
Strofix supplies the components for a Ø3 mm rope system: AISI 316 rope sold by the metre, rope holders for intermediate posts, eye anchors, tensioners, threaded terminals, rope stoppers and crimping pliers.
The rope and tensioning parts are AISI 316 and the rope holders AISI 304, for 40 × 40 mm and Ø42.4 mm posts. The correct set depends on the post profile, the number of rope runs and the length of the run.
