The Strofix glass clamp 48×65×40 mm, wall (16.76–21.52 mm) is a stainless-steel wall-mount glass clamp designed to be screwed directly to a wall to hold a single ultra-thick laminated glass panel. The clamp measures 48 × 65 × 40 mm and holds glass panels from 16.76 to 21.52 mm thick. Manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel with a satin finish.
This is the thickest-glass version of the wall-mount glass clamp and the only one with a deeper 40 mm body (versus 34 mm on the other wall clamps) to accommodate the heaviest glass. It covers 16.76 mm (88.2 laminated), 17.52 mm, and 21.52 mm structural laminated safety glass — the maximum glass thickness in the Strofix range. The clamp screws into the wall and grips the ultra-thick glass edge between rubber gaskets. It is used for structural glass partitions, wall-terminated balustrades, and high-load wall-fixed glass applications.
The other three wall clamps (12–12.76, 12–15, and 16.76–17.52 mm) have a 34 mm deep body. This version has a deeper 40 mm body to accommodate the thickest glass (16.76–21.52 mm, up to 21.52 mm). All four are 48 × 65 mm AISI 316 satin at the same price.
Glass from 16.76 to 21.52 mm: 16.76 mm (88.2 laminated), 17.52 mm, and 21.52 mm structural laminated safety glass. This is the maximum glass thickness in the Strofix range.
This clamp is designed to be screwed directly to a wall surface, holding a glass panel against or perpendicular to the wall. It differs from the side-clamps (which mount on railing posts).
The clamp is 48 × 65 × 40 mm — the deepest wall-mount clamp body in the range.
AISI 316 stainless steel with a satin finish — marine grade, suitable for coastal and high-humidity installations.
The clamp is screwed directly to the wall using appropriate wall fixings (chemical anchors or expansion bolts) suited to the wall material and the heavy glass load.
A connector glass clamp is a stainless-steel bracket that joins two glass panels at a fixed angle without requiring an intermediate post between them. It clamps two panel edges simultaneously — either in a straight 180° inline configuration or at a 90° corner — creating a continuous glass run around corners or across panel joints.
Strofix supplies connector glass clamps in many variants: 180° inline clamps, 90° corner clamps, and wall clamps. Each clamp is available to suit different panel thicknesses and installation requirements.
The correct connector clamp depends on the angle between the two panels and the body style that matches the railing layout.
Strofix designs and supplies stainless-steel fastening systems for architectural glass, including glass adaptors, railing components, handrails, and structural fixings. We also serve architects, installers, and building contractors on residential and commercial projects.
