The Strofix adjustable front crossbar holder for 12mm, Flat, Satin is an AISI 304 stainless-steel crossbar holder that carries a horizontal Ø12 mm crossbar (infill rod) on the front face of a flat mounting surface, with an adjustable joint. It mounts on a flat surface and holds the rod at the front of the fitting, and the adjustable joint lets the crossbar angle be set to follow a change of pitch. Satin finish.

This is the adjustable version of the front crossbar holder. Where the fixed front crossbar holder carries the rod at a set orientation, this version lets the angle be adjusted on site – suiting staircases and ramps, where the infill rod follows the incline and the holder angle must match the rake between one post and the next. It presents the crossbar on the front face of the holder and fixes to any flat surface – a post face, stringer, or wall.

About Crossbar Holders

A crossbar holder is a stainless-steel fitting that carries a horizontal Ø12 mm rod on a railing post or a flat surface. At intermediate posts the rod runs through the holder; at end posts it ends in a left or right holder with a blind hole.

Strofix supplies 16 crossbar holders: eight for flat surfaces and eight for Ø42.4 mm round posts – through, left and right end, connecting, front and adjustable front holders, plus a vertical holder and a holder for 1.5–4 mm glass – in AISI 304 (one through holder also in AISI 316), satin or polished, all for Ø12 mm rods.
