Connecting crossbar holder for 12mm, Flat, Satin

The Strofix connecting crossbar holder (flat) is an AISI 304 stainless-steel through-hole fitting designed for flat mounting surfaces such as rectangular posts, plates, or wall-mounted brackets. Unlike blind-hole end fittings, the connecting holder has a full through-bore in which two Ø12 mm crossbar sections meet and are joined at one post. Supplied with a 22 mm body diameter, 20 mm height, satin finish, and screwing elements included.

The Ø12 mm through-bore (d = 12 mm) runs completely through the holder body, so the two crossbar sections meet inside it and the run continues without interruption. The flat base sits flush against rectangular or square post profiles, plates, or wall brackets. The 22 mm body diameter (D) keeps the fitting compact, and the Ø6.5 mm screw hole secures the holder in position. At the end posts, left and right blind-hole flat holders are used. AISI 304 stainless steel is suitable for standard interior and exterior railing installations.

The satin finish provides a uniform appearance that matches other Strofix crossbar holders and railing components in the same finish.

How does this differ from blind-hole crossbar holders?

A connecting holder has a full through-bore – the crossbar passes completely through from one side to the other. Blind-hole holders have a dead-end bore where the crossbar enters from one side only and terminates. Use blind-hole holders at end posts.

How does this differ from the Ø42.4 connecting holder?

The flat version has a flat base for mounting on rectangular posts, plates, or wall brackets. The Ø42.4 version has a curved base shaped to sit against a Ø42.4 mm round post tube. Choose the variant that matches your post profile.

A crossbar holder is a stainless-steel fitting that carries a horizontal Ø12 mm rod on a railing post or a flat surface. At intermediate posts the rod runs through the holder; at end posts it ends in a left or right holder with a blind hole.
