The Strofix side mounting of the post 42.4mm, 150mm, Satin is a stainless-steel side fastening with a large round D150 plate that anchors a Ø42.4 mm railing post to a vertical face. The round Ø150 mm plate bolts to the side of a fascia, edge beam, or wall, holding the post alongside the structure. Available in AISI 304 or AISI 316 with a satin finish. The post is attached by welding.

This is the largest round-plate side fastening, with a Ø150 mm plate versus the Ø100 mm version. The wider plate spreads the load over a larger area and provides more anchor points, suited to taller posts, higher loads, or substrates where the maximum bearing area is wanted. It is used where a railing post is fixed to a vertical surface — a balcony slab edge, stair stringer, or fascia beam — instead of being floor-mounted, keeping the floor surface clear.
