The Strofix side mounting of the post 120×60mm, Satin is an AISI 304 stainless-steel side fastening that anchors a 40 × 40 mm square railing post to a vertical face. The 120 × 60 mm plate bolts to the side of a fascia, edge beam, or wall, holding the square post alongside the structure rather than on top of it. Finished in satin. The post is attached by welding.

This is the square-post version of the side fastening. It is used where a 40 × 40 mm square railing post is fixed to a vertical surface — typically the edge face of a balcony slab, a stair stringer, or a fascia beam — instead of being floor-mounted on top of the slab. Side mounting keeps the deck or floor surface clear and lets the railing sit at the slab edge, maximising usable floor area. The 120 × 60 mm plate provides a tall bolt pattern to resist the leverage loads side-mounted posts impose. The round Ø42.4 mm version is also available.
