The Strofix handrail fitting, adjustable, 42.4 is a stainless-steel connector with an adjustable support plate that joins round handrail sections in a straight run while allowing the rail angle to be set. It is made from 40 × 40 × 2 mm square section with a curved seat shaped for round ø42.4 mm pipe. Manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish.

This is the adjustable, round-pipe version of the straight 40 × 40 mm square-section handrail fitting. Its adjustable support plate lets the rail angle be set, making it suited to raked or sloped runs such as staircases, where the handrail follows an incline.
