The Strofix handrail fitting (handrail rod, inner thread) is a stainless-steel connecting rod that links a post to the handrail plate above it. The rod has a height of 75 mm with an M8 thread, available in two diameters — ø12 mm or ø14 mm. Manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. This is a fixed (non-adjustable) component.

This rod is the connecting stem in the post-mounted handrail support system. It fixes to the top of a railing post and receives the handrail plate (the saddle that cradles the rail), setting the handrail at a fixed height above the post. It is the basic, lowest-cost fitting in the For-Post range — the welding, adjustable, and adjustable-support-plate versions offer alternative fixing methods and adjustability.
