The Strofix welding handrail rod is a stainless-steel connecting rod that is welded to a post to support the handrail plate above it. The rod has a height of 75 mm, available in two diameters — ø12 mm or ø14 mm. Manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. This is a fixed (non-adjustable) component.
This rod is the welded alternative to the screw-fixed handrail rod. Instead of bolting to the post, it is welded directly to the post or supporting steel, providing a permanent, high-strength connection with no visible fixings. It sets the handrail at a fixed standoff height and receives the handrail plate above. The welded fitting is the lowest-cost option in the For-Post range and is preferred where the railing is steel-fabricated and welding is part of the assembly process.
