Handrail fitting - 42.4, for welding

The Strofix handrail support for welding is an AISI 304 stainless-steel fitting that carries the handrail on a railing post. It consists of a flat round saddle plate on a round stem, with an M8 connection. Supplied with a raw (unfinished) surface.

This is the Ø42.4 mm round version – the saddle plate profile matches the handrail it carries. The fitting is welded in place, which gives a permanent connection with no visible fixing on the finished rail. It is the fixed version: the saddle angle is not adjustable, so it is intended for level handrail runs rather than raked or stair sections.

The raw surface is standard for welded fittings, because the weld and the surrounding surface are ground and finished together after installation. AISI 304 stainless steel is suitable for standard interior and exterior installations.
