The Strofix glass clamp 45×45 mm polished for Ø42.4 tube is a stainless-steel glass panel holder designed for mounting on Ø42.4 mm round railing post tubes. The clamp measures 45 × 45 mm and holds glass panels from 6 to 10.76 mm thick. The distance between the mounting surface and the glass panel is 20 mm. Manufactured from AISI 304 with a mirror-polished finish. Without supporter. Attached by screwing.

The polished finish provides a high-gloss, mirror-like appearance for premium glass railing installations on round tube posts. This is the aesthetic upgrade from the satin version of the same tube-mount clamp — the dimensions, glass range, mounting type, and standoff distance are identical apart from the surface finish and the glass range starting at 6 mm (the satin version also accepts 4 mm). The curved back face wraps around the Ø42.4 mm tube surface. Glass thickness options cover single tempered glass (6, 8, 10 mm) and laminated safety glass (8.76, 10.76 mm). This product is available in AISI 304 only.

Both are 45 × 45 mm tube-mount clamps for Ø42.4 without supporter. The differences are surface finish (polished vs satin), grade (AISI 304 only vs 304/316 on the satin), glass range (6–10.76 vs 4–10.76 mm on satin), and price. Choose polished for mirror-finish aesthetics; choose satin for a brushed look, AISI 316 availability, or 4 mm glass support.

What glass thicknesses are supported?

About Glass Clamps for Pipe

A glass clamp for pipe is a stainless-steel bracket with a curved back profiled to sit flush against a round post, gripping a glass panel along its edge without requiring a drilled hole. The curved saddle wraps around the tube circumference, and the front half clamps the glass with rubber inserts that cushion the contact and accommodate the panel thickness.
