The Strofix glass clamp 45×63 mm polished for Ø42.4 tube is a stainless-steel glass panel holder designed for mounting on Ø42.4 mm round railing post tubes. The clamp measures 63 × 45 mm (L × H) and holds glass panels from 6 to 12.76 mm thick. The distance between the mounting surface and the glass panel is 20 mm. Manufactured from AISI 304 with a mirror-polished finish. Includes support. Attached by screwing.

The polished finish provides a high-gloss, mirror-like appearance for premium thick-glass installations on round tube posts. The wider 63 mm body accommodates glass panels up to 12.76 mm — including 12 mm single tempered and 12.76 mm laminated safety glass (66.2 designation) — that the standard 45 × 45 mm tube clamps cannot handle. This is the polished counterpart to the satin version, sharing the same glass range and mounting type but with a mirror finish and AISI 304 only. The curved back face wraps around the Ø42.4 mm tube surface.

Both share the same 63 × 45 mm body, 6–12.76 mm glass range, Ø42.4 tube mounting, 20 mm standoff, and included support. Choose polished for mirror aesthetics; choose satin for a brushed look or AISI 316 availability.

What glass thicknesses are supported?

About Glass Clamps for Pipe

A glass clamp for pipe is a stainless-steel bracket with a curved back profiled to sit flush against a round post, gripping a glass panel along its edge without requiring a drilled hole. The curved saddle wraps around the tube circumference, and the front half clamps the glass with rubber inserts that cushion the contact and accommodate the panel thickness.
