The Strofix front crossbar holder for 12mm, 42.4, Satin is an AISI 304 stainless-steel crossbar holder that carries a horizontal Ø12 mm crossbar (infill rod) on the front face of a round Ø42.4 mm post tube. Its base is shaped to seat against the round post, and it holds the rod at the front of the fitting. Satin finish.

This is the tube-mount version of the front crossbar holder, shaped to fit the Ø42.4 mm round railing post – where the flat front crossbar holder seats against a flat post face, this one has a saddle profile matching the curve of the round tube. It presents the crossbar on the front face of the holder rather than passing the rod through the body, suiting positions where the rod is carried on the face of a round post. An adjustable front-mounted version is also available for runs where the crossbar angle needs to be set.

About Crossbar Holders

A crossbar holder is a stainless-steel fitting that carries a horizontal Ø12 mm rod on a railing post or a flat surface. At intermediate posts the rod runs through the holder; at end posts it ends in a left or right holder with a blind hole.

Strofix supplies 16 crossbar holders: eight for flat surfaces and eight for Ø42.4 mm round posts – through, left and right end, connecting, front and adjustable front holders, plus a vertical holder and a holder for 1.5–4 mm glass – in AISI 304 (one through holder also in AISI 316), satin or polished, all for Ø12 mm rods.
