End crossbar holder for 12mm, Left, 42.4, Satin

The Strofix end crossbar holder – left blind hole (42.4) is an AISI 304 stainless-steel crossbar end fitting for Ø42.4 mm railing post tubes. The blind hole accepts the Ø12 mm crossbar from one side only, making it the fitting for the left-hand end of a horizontal crossbar run. Body diameter 22 mm, height 20 mm, satin finish, screwing elements included.

The curved base seats against the Ø42.4 mm post, and an M6 screw through the Ø6.5 mm hole secures the holder. The blind hole conceals the cut end of the rod inside the fitting. AISI 304 stainless steel is suitable for standard interior and exterior railing installations.

About Crossbar Holders

A crossbar holder is a stainless-steel fitting that carries a horizontal Ø12 mm rod on a railing post or a flat surface. At intermediate posts the rod runs through the holder; at end posts it ends in a left or right holder with a blind hole.

Strofix supplies 16 crossbar holders: eight for flat surfaces and eight for Ø42.4 mm round posts – through, left and right end, connecting, front and adjustable front holders, plus a vertical holder and a holder for 1.5–4 mm glass – in AISI 304 (one through holder also in AISI 316), satin or polished, all for Ø12 mm rods.
