The Strofix bottom fastening, hammered, is an AISI 304 stainless-steel round base plate for the Ø42.4 mm round railing post tube. The Ø100 mm flange carries a formed collar sized for the post tube. Supplied with a satin finish.
The collar is formed directly from the flange rather than welded on, so the post sits square to the base without a separate joint at the plate face. The flange is bolted to the floor, slab or substrate through the fixing holes around its edge.
The satin finish means this base can be left exposed rather than concealed under a cover plate, which suits visible installations on terraces, balconies and interior stairs. AISI 304 stainless steel is suitable for standard interior and exterior installations.

This base has a collar formed from the flange itself and is supplied with a satin finish for exposed installations. The base for welding is a cast plate with an open aperture – the post tube passes through it and is welded, and it is supplied raw because it is normally concealed by a cover.
