Base hammered 40x40mm, Satin

The Strofix bottom fastening, hammered, is an AISI 304 stainless-steel base plate for the 40 × 40 mm square railing post tube. The plate measures 100 × 100 mm with a 5 mm thickness and four Ø12 mm bolt holes arranged on a 70 mm pattern. Supplied with a satin finish.

The post socket is formed directly from the plate and sized for 40 × 40 × 2 mm square tube. The tube seats into the collar at the centre of the plate, and the plate is then bolted to the floor, slab or substrate through the four clearance holes. Because the socket is formed from the plate itself, the post sits square to the base without a separate welded joint at the plate face.

The satin finish means this base can be left exposed rather than concealed under a cover plate, which suits visible installations on terraces, balconies and interior stairs. AISI 304 stainless steel is suitable for standard interior and exterior installations.
