This is the middle configuration for a staircase: the post stands between two glass panels along a stair run and carries 4 glass clamps — one pair to each adjacent panel — so the glass balustrade follows the pitch of the stairs. The "42.4" designation is the version for the round Ø42.4 mm tube handrail; a "Flat" version for the flat 40 × 40 handrail is also available, and corner and end posts complete the run.
