The Strofix flat-end cap is an AISI 304 stainless-steel ultra-low-profile press-fit cap designed to close the open end of the Ø42.4 × 2 mm railing tube. The cap has a 3 mm height (H) and is supplied in satin finish. The cap is installed by driving it into the tube bore (elements for driving included).
The press-fit flat-end cap is driven into the open end of the Ø42.4 mm tube, creating an almost flush closure with a 3 mm profile. The cap sits nearly level with the tube face once installed. This SKU is a single fixed configuration for the Ø42.4 × 2 mm tube in satin finish — there are no selectable tube size, finish, or grade options. About End Caps
An end cap is a stainless-steel closure piece that plugs into or fits over the open end of a railing tube, post or solid bar, sealing it against moisture ingress and giving the termination a clean, finished appearance. Without an end cap, the cut tube end is exposed — visually unfinished and prone to collecting water and debris inside the hollow section.
