The Strofix flat-end cap is an AISI 304 stainless-steel ultra-low-profile press-fit cap designed to close the open end of Ø42.4 × 2 mm or 48 × 3 mm railing tubes. The Ø42.4 × 2 variant has a 2 mm height; the 48 × 3 variant has a 3 mm height. Available in satin or polished finish (polish for Ø42.4 × 2 only). The press-fit flat-end cap is driven into the open end of the tube, creating an almost flush closure with an extremely low profile. An end cap is a stainless-steel closure piece that plugs into or fits over the open end of a railing tube, post or solid bar, sealing it against moisture ingress and giving the termination a clean, finished appearance. Without an end cap, the cut tube end is exposed — visually unfinished and prone to collecting water and debris inside the hollow section.
