The Strofix weld-on end cap is an AISI 304 stainless-steel plate with a Ø12 mm hole that closes Ø42.4x2 mm railing tube. Supplied with a raw (unfinished) surface.
The cap is welded to the tube end rather than pressed in, giving a permanent seal that cannot be knocked out or removed. TIG or MIG welding is required; the weld and surrounding surface are ground and finished on site after fitting. The Ø12 mm hole allows a cable, rod or drainage path to pass through the closed end.
The raw surface is standard for welded caps because the finish is applied after welding. AISI 304 stainless steel is suitable for standard interior and exterior installations.

About End Caps
An end cap closes the open end of a railing tube, post or crossbar rod, keeping water and dirt out and giving the end a clean, finished look.
