The Strofix connector for pipe 42,4 × 2mm, Polished is an AISI 304 stainless-steel inline coupler for Ø42.4 × 2 mm round railing tube. It joins two tube sections in a straight line and has a 4 mm height. Polished (mirror) finish. Attached using adhesive (elements for pasting included).

This is the polished-finish version of the Ø42.4 inline connector. It is identical in form to the satin version but has a mirror-polished surface, suited to installations matching polished tube and fittings. The fitting is an internal sleeve that bridges the joint between two round tube ends meeting in a straight line. The ultra-thin 4 mm profile makes the coupler nearly invisible once installed — the external surface shows only a minimal seam between the two tube sections. It is used wherever a continuous straight run of Ø42.4 mm round tube railing or handrail exceeds the available tube length and must be extended with a joint. The fitting slides into the bore of both tube ends and is secured with adhesive, creating a rigid, straight connection.

How does this differ from the satin version?

Both are AISI 304 Ø42.4 inline connectors with the same ultra-thin 4 mm profile. This version has a polished (mirror) finish at a slightly higher price; the satin version has a brushed matte finish and an AISI 316 grade option.

Is this a straight or angled connector?

It slides into both tube ends and is secured using adhesive (pasting). The Strofix anaerobic glue (50 mL) is the recommended adhesive.
