The Strofix crossbar holder for glass 4mm, Flat, Satin is an AISI 304 stainless-steel fitting that secures a horizontal crossbar (infill rod) directly to a glass panel. This is the glass-mount version of the crossbar holder. Where the flat and tube holders fix to a post face or round post, this holder attaches to a glass panel, letting a rod infill run across or terminate against a glass balustrade panel. It suits designs that combine a glass panel with rod infill — for example, a glass base panel with a rod handrail infill above, or a rod detail fixed to a glass surface. It clamps to the panel and holds the crossbar securely against the glass.

About Crossbar Holders

A crossbar holder is a stainless-steel fitting that secures a horizontal rod or bar to a railing post, glass panel or flat surface, forming the connection between the infill rod and the structure it passes through. At intermediate posts the rod runs through the holder; at end posts it terminates in a blind hole (left or right hand); and on glass panels a dedicated glass-mount holder clamps the rod to the panel face.
