This is the polished-finish, tube-mount version of the crossbar holder, shaped to fit the Ø42.4 mm round railing post. It is identical in form to the satin tube version but has a mirror-polished surface, suited to installations matching polished posts and fittings. Its saddle base matches the curve of the round tube, and it forms the connection between a horizontal infill rod and the round post at intermediate positions in a railing run, with the rod passing straight through the holder to the next support.

A crossbar holder is a stainless-steel fitting that secures a horizontal rod or bar to a railing post, glass panel or flat surface, forming the connection between the infill rod and the structure it passes through. At intermediate posts the rod runs through the holder; at end posts it terminates in a blind hole (left or right hand); and on glass panels a dedicated glass-mount holder clamps the rod to the panel face.
