Bar holder – Right blind hole - 42.4

The Strofix bar holder – right blind hole (42.4) is an AISI 304 stainless-steel crossbar end fitting designed for Ø42.4 mm railing post tubes. The blind hole accepts the crossbar from one side only, making it the correct fitting for the right-hand termination point of a horizontal crossbar run. Available in three height variants (20, 22, or 23 mm) with satin or polished finish, and screwing elements included.

The height variant determines the crossbar bore diameter and body size. The H = 20 mm variant accepts a Ø12 mm crossbar with a 22 mm body diameter, available in both satin and polished finish. The H = 22 mm and H = 23 mm variants accept a Ø16 mm crossbar with a 25 mm body diameter, available in satin finish only. All variants use a Ø6.5 mm screw hole for mounting to the Ø42.4 mm post tube. AISI 304 stainless steel is suitable for standard interior and exterior railing installations.

The satin finish reduces visible fingerprints and micro-scratches; the polished finish (H = 20 mm variant only) provides a mirror-like appearance for installations requiring a high-gloss look.

A crossbar holder is a stainless-steel fitting that secures a horizontal rod or bar to a railing post, glass panel or flat surface, forming the connection between the infill rod and the structure it passes through. At intermediate posts the rod runs through the holder; at end posts it terminates in a blind hole (left or right hand); and on glass panels a dedicated glass-mount holder clamps the rod to the panel face.
