Cover for profile 40x40mm, Raw, S235

The Strofix cover for profile 40×40mm, Raw, S235 is a carbon-steel (S235) decorative base cover for a 40 × 40 mm square railing post. The 90 × 90 mm square cover has a square opening that fits the 40 × 40 mm post and conceals the base plate, anchor bolts, and raw fixing. Supplied in a raw (unfinished) carbon-steel surface — the most economical cover in the range.

Unlike the AISI 304 and AISI 316 stainless covers, this is mild carbon steel (S235) and is not corrosion-resistant on its own; it must be painted, galvanised, or otherwise coated for use, and is well suited to interior installations or assemblies that will be finished on site. At €1.60 it is the lowest-cost base cover, suited to projects where a stainless finish is not required or where the cover will be coated to match the surrounding metalwork.

About Covers

A cover is a stainless-steel decorative plate that fits around the base of a railing post where it meets the floor, deck or fascia, concealing the anchor bolt, base plate and raw fixing beneath a clean, finished disc or square.
