The Strofix cover for pipe Ø42.4, 105mm, two parts, Satin is an AISI 316 stainless-steel decorative base cover for a Ø42.4 mm round railing post, made in two parts. The Ø105 mm cover is 17 mm high and assembles around the post base from two halves, concealing the base plate, anchor bolts, and raw fixing beneath a clean, finished disc. Satin finish, marine-grade AISI 316.

Unlike the one-piece covers, which slide over the post tube from the open end, this two-part cover clips together around the post in place. This makes it ideal for retrofitting to posts that are already installed and capped — where a one-piece cover could not be slid on — and for replacing a damaged cover without dismantling the railing. The two-part construction and marine-grade AISI 316 explain the higher price relative to the one-piece Ø105 covers. The Ø105 mm diameter conceals larger base plates such as the D100.

About Covers

A cover is a stainless-steel decorative plate that fits around the base of a railing post where it meets the floor, deck or fascia, concealing the anchor bolt, base plate and raw fixing beneath a clean, finished disc or square. It slides over the post tube before or after installation and sits flat against the mounting surface, giving the post base a professional appearance.
